Houston Pride 2010
This year we celebrated another year that not only made history in the nation but a feeling of greatness of something to be proud of that other cities did not. The newly elected Mayor of Houston Annise Parker was one of the highlights of this years Pride. If you noticed the parade seemed to kick off rather late this year but kept its tradition for the night time festivities. It was still hot and sweaty out but a great time for the gay family and friends. Some of the floats were gogo dancers, some had politicians, and some even were local restaurants that have supported the community and that we have supported. Here are some photos taken of the 2010 pride including some of my favorite floats which were the sailors, firefighters, alrite so we like guys in costumes but we really liked the Dance bus float as well.

What gay does not like to dance? We know Ellen sure loves to. The Gay Dance bus was one of our favs.

The family and friends of the Houston Firefighters

and John Deere Green on a Hot Summers Night..

This is what you call a love float.

Not sure what the Pride EMS is supposed to be but there were some hot guys hanging out of this ambulance.

Just have to love the sombrero.

We were wondering what happened to the Southbeach Nightclub float this year we heard it was one of the best floats last year and must have missed it. We did see a Charles Armstrong float full of muscle men but that seemed more like something that belonged at a Chippendales pagaent. Hot buff men and all but where is the club float?

Then you have a radio station that joined the parade with one of the hottest promotional buses I have seen in any city. This must not be a Clear Channel Station with this big marketing budget. Why arent there some Go Go boys up on the roof of this bus maybe they should have used the above pics Chippendale dancers. This looks like one party bus I would like to take for a spin on a Saturday night!
