Al Gore appears on a lame MTV Awards

I always get excited to throw a party for the MTV VMA Awards because of the buzz that it generates.  In past shows you got to see high energy performances from Aerosmith, The White Stripes, P. Diddy, N-Sync, The Backstreet Boys, and more.  The MTV VMA Awards are also known for the lesbian kiss of Madonna, Cristina Aguilera, and Britney Spears and a duet of Elton John and Eminem.  You may have also missed when Courtney Love threw a shoe at Madonna.  We love entertainment and expect more from a star-filled MTV Awards show. 
This year, the most exciting part of the show was men dancing on treadmills, the Al Gore presentation on global warming, and Pink being a "bit**" in front of Nicole Richie and Nick-boy.
It is true that Al Gores speech was actually more entertaining that the entire awards show.  Most people were so asleep by the time the awards ended that who even knows who won the best video of the year.  
Madonna did not take home any awards.  Christina did not take home any awards.  This is the worst MTV VMA in history.  Just think that I almost paid $5,000 for a seat to this lame event.  I would have cried my way back home and never turned to MTV again.
