1st Annual Otter Weekend Coming to Dallas

The Otters are coming to Dallas. Just weeks after a highly successful Otter Fest at Hippie Hollow in Austin a new event is taking place in Big D. Get ready to party at the Sisu pool and dance with DJ’s at Marty’s Live and The Eagle.

This will be the first Otter Weekend for Dallas beginning with an opening party at Woody’s bar on Friday, August 10 then a closing party at Marty’s Live the following Sunday night with Legendary DJ Ronnie Bruno from Club Seven Sundays. The great thing is most of the events are free.

The first event is the Mr. Dallas Otter Weekend Contest at Woody’s hosted by Gloria Devine. They plan to hold a contest for Mr. Dallas Otter. Audience members are encouraged to tip the contests, and all proceeds raised will benefit the Dallas Red Foundation. Otters in The Water
Saturday, August 11 at 12 PM – 5 PM at the SISU Uptown at
2508 Maple Ave, Dallas. This will be a pool party featuring DJ Level in Uptown Dallas not far from the gayborhood. General admission sales are currently $15 and the final week tickets will be $25.

Saturday, The Dallas Eagle will also hosting an Otter Art/Gear/Clothing Exhibition from 4p to 10pm. The admission will be free for this event that features exhibitors such as Twisted Pup Leather Co. and the Dallas Bears.

Woofstock Dance Party  at The Dallas Eagle is the Main Event for Saturday Night featuring DJ Benson Wilder. This event is also free. pin
Dallas Eagle is located at 5740 Maple Ave, Dallas, Texas. They have over 600 people interested in the main event so far!

Sunday Happy Hour at the Hidden Door  (August 12 at 12 PM – 5 PM)
The Hidden Door is located at 5025 Bowser Ave, Dallas, Texas. This is also a free entry event.

You can’t close a big weekend out with a Dallas legend. Otters LIVE will be the Closing Party with DJ Ronnie Bruno. This will be Sunday, August 12 at 5 PM – 2 AM.
