RIP Sahara Davenport from Ru Paul’s Drag Race Season 2

We have learned that Sahara Davenport from Ru Paul’s Drag Race Season 2 has passed away. Sahara or Antwan Ashley was known not only from Ru Paul’s Drag Race but loved in NYC and the Dallas community where she performed often. She was such a talented beauty gone way too soon. RIP Sahara Davenport! Our prayers and thoughts go out to the Davenport family as well as Sahara’s partner Manilla Luzon. This has been a rough few weeks already for the Dallas LGBT community. It was just a few weeks ago that the community was in shock over the passing away of Shawn Gregory. He was a dancer at BJ’s NXs, Tin Room, and The Brick. Now we have yet another sad death of a highly talented performer who has done shows for SMU, the Rose Room, and even Club One.
