Silver Daddies Review

Here’s something for you bois who like to look after their older daddies and for you silver haired dads who like to take care of us younger boys. Silver Daddies is a meeting place for men, both mature and young, who want to chat and maybe meet up. It is a neat, simply designed site that not only has the chat area but that also has members’ personal photos, search facilities, news and a marketplace.

First things first: set up your profile. This doesn’t take long but the more detailed and honest you are about yourself the better. You have a space to write an introduction about yourself so use that wisely and you can also upload a photo – but read the terms and conditions before you do. Once you have done that you will be asked to verify your e-mail address and then you’re up and running.

You will be joining something like 150,000 other users and when I logged in there were nearly 2,000 of them on line. I found a pleasant welcome message waiting for me in my in box and I could change or update my profile if I wanted, adding a private gallery of pics and any more details I may have forgotten before. There is a search page which works really quickly, I entered some basic details: age range 20 to 30, a country and ticked a few boxes and hundreds of matching profiles came up almost straight away, very impressive. There are other great little features too, for example you can see who has joined since your last visit, you can see who is travelling in your area and then of course there is the chat area.

Read the rules (standard stuff) then choose your room, mature/younger or mature/mature. The chat area uses a Flash plug-in but it’s free to grab if you don’t have it. What is really good abut this chat area is this: the members in the room are listed to the right in a standard way but you don’t just get their name, you also get their country, by way of a flag and if it’s the USA then the state too, and age. Click on the name and you have their photo, if they have one and a link to their profile. You can also opt to ignore that user or open up a private chat. And the names are automatically listed alphabetically so if you are looking for someone whose name you know it’s easy to find him. I spent ages in the chat room and bookmarked the site to come back to it when I’d finished work, this is definitely a site I am going to explore in much more detail later, some of these daddies (any their younger admirers) are hot!

There are two sets of galleries for you too; one of older guys and one of their admirers. These are member submitted pictures, so they are real guys and not impossibly hunky professionals and navigating them is easy. There are not too many photos here as yet but it will be worth popping back from time to time to see if any new guys have been added. It’s also worth checking out the news page to see what’s new on the site.

Now then, all of the above is free, which is great. But if you want to go further and use the ‘premium’ features you can sign up for $50 for a whole year, which is a lot cheaper than some other chat and dating sites I’ve seen. You get 12 extra features for your dollars including: no limits on sending messages, you can see who has visited your profile, you can see when your favorite profiles are on line and you can access videos that the daddies and bois may have put up.

All in all this is a great meeting place, a well designed site and if you like older guys, or are an older guy looking for a younger one then his is the community to join.
