Splash Day Events in Austin

This seems to be one of the many events you hear people refer to as splash. Pretty confusing because everyone seems to misunderstand which days they celebrate this splash. We always thought it was Labor Day and Memorial Day but it seems that it is before UT lets out of school and then again when its back in September for Labor Day.
