Pride Week Events You Don’t Want To Miss

It’s been a fun September week even without an official LGBTQ Pride Parade on the strip. If anyone remembers one of the reasons we heard about them moving Pride in the first place was because of renovations and repairs on the strip where it was previously held year after year. No worries there are NO renovations going on right now and you can go from bar to bar and restaurant and shop and enjoy Cedar Springs while we celebrate what was Pride Week and still is for most of us!

Six Flags Out In the Park

The 2019 Out in the Park (formerly Gay Day at Six Flags Over Texas) will be held on Sunday, September 15th and will once again be co-hosted by Dallas Voice and the Arlington Convention & Visitors Bureau.

Out in the Park will be held at Six Flags Over Texas, 2201 E Road to Six Flags St. in Arlington, TX from 11am to 7pm on Sunday, September 15th with a special catered event occurring from 2pm to 4pm.

Tickets for the event will be $48.45 + applicable tax and will include one-day admission and free parking valid at Six Flags Over Texas on Sunday, September 15, 2019 as well as access to a catered All-You-Can-Eat meal at a reserved picnic area from 2pm to 3pm just for Out in the Park attendees! Tickets are valued at $82.99 and parking is valued at $30 so you can save over $60 on just the tickets alone!

If you missed out on the ticket pre-sales they are sold out of the catered tickets. You will need to buy them on the Six Flags website for General Admission or at the park. Basically, the deal is over because of the catering but you can still enjoy Six Flags with friends and show your pride.

As an added benefit this year, Season Pass holders and Members will be able to attend the catered event in the Out in the Park picnic area from 2pm to 3pm as well as receive free parking for the day for just $24.95 + applicable tax.

Here is the schedule so you can plan your day:

11 AM – Six Flags Opens
2 PM – Picnic Area Opens; All-You-Can-Eat Meal starts; Raffles and Giveaways begin (Located near the Titan)
3 PM – Meal Ends; Sister Helen Holy performs; Raffles and Giveaways continue
